I am a Forman Level Hair Stylist and Educator completing aDesignation. Please visit me at for more information.
I have a strong background in Hair and Business/Marketing. My passion is hair and has been since I was a child, the ingenuity of the hairdresser craft has amused me beyond imagination. I am a Journeyman industry professional and have been licensed since 2004; I graduated from cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute Victoria and am currently completing my designation in Trichology. I left working behind the chair full-time and owning salons to focus as a freelance artist; as it gives me the flexibility to offer mobile services and work as an editorial artist. I work as an educator for Davines and have worked on the Matrix team before that.
As a “Contemporary Long Hair Specialist” and dress work artist who has worn many hats in the industry, I have noticed the lack of partnership in the field of dermatology and the craft of hair. There needs to be more information shared to bridge the disconnect around the topic of Trichology. I have seen far too much and now seeing that the world of hairdressing is slowly becoming deregulated throughout North America, it brings me great concern. So I have been creating a site called Hair Knowledge to bring together knowledgeable information around hair related topics from various professionals who work around the various topics of hair. My mission is to give a voice to the millions who are trying to make the world of hair a better place; by improving peoples’ health, image, and confidence through digital innovation and accurate information. I want to redefine the documentation of hair. The digital revolution brings a new voice, new format and cutting-edge technology that will redefine the current knowledge of hair. I feel there needs to be more advocacy, and I feel creating this site will give a stronger foundation for the hair industry and its professionals.
Thank you for visiting, I look forward to connecting with you.
